Around two and a bit years ago I noticed on facebook some new friends of mine had had their first baby, a little girl fondly named “puggle” while she was in her mumma’s blossoming belly. When the announcement of arrival was made, I saw some photos of her and she was strikingly gorgeous. You see she had this insane black spiky hair and I was immediately compelled to contact my dear friends, the first time parents and my first time photographing a tiny baby, one other than my own.
Two and a bit years down the track…the family of three were expecting “poppy” They were to be blessed with another beautiful little girl and I graciously accepted the invitation to carry on tradition, the celebration of more family photos.
J and A are very committed members of the CFS, a volunteer based, fire and emergency service dedicated to protecting life, property and the environment. As a local community we are indebted to these people who generously donate their time to help us at any hour of the day or night. You will see some photos included here of Aaron in his CFS uniform.
I feel so honoured to be the person chosen to archive these precious moments in pictoral time. I feel like Puggle and I have shared a little journey together…a close connection. She’s loves camera’s..not so much having her photo taken but loves taking photos. My new little friend…
