A beautiful love story by Lauren:

“James and I met at the Archer one Saturday night. We got chatting and realised we had a mutual friend – who excitedly exclaimed that she couldn’t believe she never thought to set the two of us up as she felt we were so well suited to each other! There was no pressure or high expectations early on as James was going overseas for a while, but when he returned, luckily he wanted to see me again! Then our relationship moved on to taking trips together, moving in, buying a house, getting a dog (a chocolate labrador named “Archer” after the pub where we met)….and then James proposed to me on a weekend away in McLaren Vale…

“it was a cold winter’s weekend away in beautiful McLaren Vale. Wine tasting, coffee, chocolates and delicious food. We stayed at Serafino’s and after an amazing dinner in their restaurant, we walked back to our room along an illuminated path and James stopped half way and said “I’ve got something for you”. He took out the box and I started to realise what was happening. I hugged tight and he said “I was wondering if you would marry me?” to which I accepted of course. He had chosen the ring, a solitaire diamond that perfectly suits my petite fingers and he had also been to see my parents before hand”

Isn’t that gorgeous!! I had the pleasure of photographing J+L’s engagement session at the wonderful Adelaide Botanic Gardens and on their wedding day we photographed their wedding photos there too! Photos continued on at the super cool Botanic Bar run by very cool staff, thank you Botanic Bar for your great hospitality and Ayers House for the ceremony and reception. Such a fantastic day.
