Imagine Creative Images Photography bio picture
  • I’m so glad I found you!

imagine a picture is worth a thousand words, your beautiful memories, our creative imagery! One of my greatest joys, the simplicity of freezing a moment in time, storing history, celebrating life and love. I've always been a dreamer...easily fascinated. I love smiling faces and people with a good sense of humour. Never been one to "follow the rules" a little bit cheeky, energetic, some what adventurous and spontaneous! I love making new friends, and sharing stories. Wishing you a happy visit here and I hope to share your stories soon ♥ Sim xx

Just for fun! | Caption photos

Hi friends!

Today I was going through some old photo files and enjoying a trip down memory lane. Did you know just about every shoot has funny moments and funny photos! We often have a big chuckle looking at them on the back of the camera but no-one ever gets to see these photos again!! I’ve always wanted to do a post with all my funny photos but don’t want to upset anyone haha

I came across a photo from this summer just gone of my little guy Ajay and his bestie Alexis. They are two peas in a pod and are hilarious but oh so cuuute together. This particular day they were inseparable and barely even knew I had the camera on them ALL day hehe. They had fun playing and hiding (from me and each other) making mud pies and going for a dip in the pool. I even caught them dancing and singing (very badly!! haha) to party rocking blasting on the radio out in the back yard. Oh boy that priceless!

SO I thought I’d just have a little fun with this and I’m feeling a bit generous and would like to run a friendly little competition! Here’s what to do:

Take a minute to look at the photo, not too long or otherwise you analyse it too much and in the “comments” box below write a caption that first comes to your mind and suits the photo! Use your imagination, think outside the box and the best comment will win double pass movie tickets!! Yippee!

The winner will be announced Friday the 29th June at 8pm

Can’t wait to see your comments
Have fun!! ♥  Sim xx

Sophie & Emma | best friends + sunshine. Adelaide photographer

I knew there was a good reason I was saving this “BFF session” for a good reason! The weather here in Adelaide, South Australia is pretty darn lousy. Miserable in fact! So I thought I would share some beautiful sunshiney photos of these two radiant ladies ♥

Sophie and Emma are best friends. They’ve travelled the world together and separately. They’ve also been apart for long periods of time. But no matter how long or far that distance has been the sisterly bond they share is enduring and heartfelt. We had a really fun and easy shoot. It made me feel so happy and grateful for the wonderful girlfriends in my life. We are truly blessed to have such friendships, it’s as good as sunshine on a rainy day. Sim xx

Meet Megan, Luke and their three busy boys. They are also expecting their fourth baby in about 3 weeks!! very exciting…you see I have a confession. Megan is my sister and these are all my handsome nephews! Izaya, Hudson and Charlie.

We ventured out to take some family photos and my three boys came along too so there will be a few sneak peeks of them with their cousins *so cuuute* my favourites are of Ajay (my littlest guy) and Hudson with their matching star jeans and Ethan (my big guy) holding Charlie. Oh and of course the photo with all of the kids together throwing leaves in the air! they had So much fun.

James and Lauren | Ayers House and Botanic Gardens Adelaide Wedding Photographer

A beautiful love story by Lauren:

“James and I met at the Archer one Saturday night. We got chatting and realised we had a mutual friend – who excitedly exclaimed that she couldn’t believe she never thought to set the two of us up as she felt we were so well suited to each other! There was no pressure or high expectations early on as James was going overseas for a while, but when he returned, luckily he wanted to see me again! Then our relationship moved on to taking trips together, moving in, buying a house, getting a dog (a chocolate labrador named “Archer” after the pub where we met)….and then James proposed to me on a weekend away in McLaren Vale…

“it was a cold winter’s weekend away in beautiful McLaren Vale. Wine tasting, coffee, chocolates and delicious food. We stayed at Serafino’s and after an amazing dinner in their restaurant, we walked back to our room along an illuminated path and James stopped half way and said “I’ve got something for you”. He took out the box and I started to realise what was happening. I hugged tight and he said “I was wondering if you would marry me?” to which I accepted of course. He had chosen the ring, a solitaire diamond that perfectly suits my petite fingers and he had also been to see my parents before hand”

Isn’t that gorgeous!! I had the pleasure of photographing J+L’s engagement session at the wonderful Adelaide Botanic Gardens and on their wedding day we photographed their wedding photos there too! Photos continued on at the super cool Botanic Bar run by very cool staff, thank you Botanic Bar for your great hospitality and Ayers House for the ceremony and reception. Such a fantastic day.

Please allow me to introduce….Mr and Mrs Hunt!

My wonderful friend and totally awesome photographer Sandy from Memory Bank Photography was once again my second shooter .
