One of my greatest joys, the simplicity of freezing a moment in time, storing history, celebrating life and love. I've always been a dreamer...easily fascinated. I love smiling faces and people with a good sense of humour. Never been one to "follow the rules" a little bit cheeky, energetic, some what adventurous and spontaneous! Another gorgeous family from my Wittunga March Mini Sessions:

I gotta say I felt right at home with these guys!! with having three noisy boisterous and rapidly growing boys of my own I knew I could just hang with Declan and Riley…hahaha!!! who am I kidding?! kids are way too cool these days to hang with an adult! So they humoured me, went along with my funny ideas for photos and we actually had a really fun time. In fact I think the boys might’ve even had a fun time

A pigeon pair | march mini sessions Wittunga botanic gardens adelaide

I was pretty excited to meet these two as a little birdy told me how super cute they both were and that birdy was right!

Sadly, little Archie wasn’t so happy to see me haha!! but that’s ok I’m pretty thick skinned. The morning didn’t have a great start with him falling and grazing his knee before we met, but nevertheless once composed he was again his sweet quiet little self and agreed to come for a walk. Their mum, Jess had booked a mini session with me and we were at the beautiful Wittunga Botanic Gardens in Blackwood South Australia. I had told him that I was there the day before chasing butterflies and watching the ducks. By now I think Archie thought I was nuts! I tried every trick in the book to encourage this handsome little man to have some fun but he just wanted his mum and do you know what? There’s nothing wrong with that! A cuddle from mum and some quiet time with his baby sister Pearl is exactly what we decided to do. Not everyone wants to be in front of the camera, kids and adults! there comes a time where we just have to accept that we might not get that super toothy grin but perhaps be content in embracing the shy ones. If you take ~~two~~ ten steps back , pop that zoom lens on and let them be, we might just experience a new level of friendship and trust and find we have some intimate photos from one level of their personality

Pearl on the other hand was delightful and bubbly and we did have a little bit of fun together [see the eating grass photo!! haha]…she is so beautiful.

What an amazing day!

I met so many wonderful people, kids and adults! I loved every minute, you guys rocked!!

This is me…

My treasured friend Sandy of Memory Bank Photography took this shot while we were waiting for the Bride and Groom and thier wedding party to meet us on location. The sun was perfect, warm and embracing. We had only a couple of minutes together, I love this space. We chat energetically about what special moments we’ve just shot, what we still need to do and what’s happening next! However we were so absorbed by the beauty surrounding us, involuntarily and without thinking had to lift the beloved camera to the eye. That perfect moment, just have to take the shot! So this is me, as photographed by my best friend. I’m a Mum! to three boys, one a teenager!! Next year I’ll be celebrating my 40th! slightly freaked out by that but at the same time love an excuse to party with the ones I love. I am blessed to have someone special in my life, my Matty who love’s me and the kids and supports me every step of the way, professionally and personally. I’ve had an extraodinary life, filled with love, heartache and miracles! Sometimes it’s so surreal. I am so happy right now, I couldn’t imagine my life being any better than having healthy kids, beautiful friends and family and fulfilling my dream…of being your photographer and having the luxury of meeting new people, hearing your stories and making new friends! All by the click of a shutter…from my camera…connected to my heart through the beauty I see around me.

A beautiful lil family…

I had the pleasure of photographing this yummy mummy and her baby bump early january when she was not quite 33 weeks gestation. We had a fun day taking photos! laughed lots and listened to our favourite tunes while we hung out like best buddies. Then only four days later SURPRISE!!! Kate and Simon’s little bundle of joy decided he wanted to make an early entrance into this big world and meet everyone a bit sooner than expected…

Meet the very handsome Campbell 7 weeks prem, he had to have a short stay in the neonatal unit for a while. I’m sure he made a few friends there because he’s just too cuuuute!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my baby cuddles and loved photographing this gorgeous family of mum, dad, baby boy and two fur children celebrate their love with thier new up and coming life with some family photos.

Congratulations Simon and Kate and Welcome little Campbell!!
